Great unit !! I owned one for years and was amazed at the fast redraw rate, accuracy, etc etc..

Honestly, its a super unit. You can download the Owners Manual on the Garmin site.

great unit. If you want, you can replace it with a 182c (color) which has identical case and connectors so it's just a swap of the head. I had a 182 mounted in my dash and the 182c fit exactly the same hole.

agreed, it is a great gps. easy to use and accurate. I upgraded from a 182 to a 232 which is exactly the same unit just with a biger screen. you can't go wrong with it.

Good...keep. I've got 540 hours on my 182C...just now replacing the anti-reflective with Purple Moo...otherwise, flawless!

Great unit. We had 182c on our Parker.
In fact it sold me on Garmin and when we up graded the boat we went with 3010c garmin w/radar/sounder etc.

I have the 182 with internal antenna. It has worked great for the past three seasons.
After using it for two weeks, I added the BlueChart cartography. It now has all the capability I need.

I've got the 182c color version with external antenna, and have had no problems, very good unit, accurate, lots of features including tide data.
