great unit. If you want, you can replace it with a 182c (color) which has identical case and connectors so it's just a swap of the head. I had a 182 mounted in my dash and the 182c fit exactly the same hole.

agreed, it is a great gps. easy to use and accurate. I upgraded from a 182 to a 232 which is exactly the same unit just with a biger screen. you can't go wrong with it.
I have the 182 with internal antenna. It has worked great for the past three seasons.
After using it for two weeks, I added the BlueChart cartography. It now has all the capability I need.
