Raytheon V850, Transducer-help!

I have a 1991 25 Outrage with 1991 vintage electronics (Raytheon V850, color sounder, Raychart 610 map) This summer, I noticed problems with the color sounder not reading the depth properly or not reading it all....Today while inspecting the transom area of the boat, I noticed a deep laceration on the transducer cord/wire near the transducer unit. This must be the problem! Is it possible to replace the wire on such an old unit? Do I have to place the entire transducer?

Also, I have a Lowrance LMS200 Loran, fishfinder.(1991 vintage) The wire pulled completely out of its transducer. Can this be replaced?

Unfortunately, both transducers will need to be replaced.

Like Taxi said,they'll need to be replaced. The good news is that Transom-mounted transducers are easier to replace than thru-hull transducers & cheaper,too!
