Default Flush mount VHF speaker

I'm having a tough time hearing my VHF radio when I'm running in my center consol. I've got 5' area in my dash that I'd like to use to mount another speaker but have be having a tough time finding a flush mount VHF speaker. Most of the speakers I see are stereo speakers with huge magnets. I affraid these type of speakers would mess with my compass. Anyone know of a source for a flush mount VHF speaker?

Standard Horizon makes a panel mount 5" amplified speaker (MLS-310) that is a marine product and available in black or white - there is little info on their site, so you will probably have to give them a call to get some answers to your questions and have them e-mail literature.

The speaker on my mic is not a good situation when I am running, so I can certainly understand the desire for loud and clear speaker.

Thanks for the reply. Your right, it looks like Standard-Horizon offers a full line of external VHF speakers. After a couple of hours of web surfing I even managed to find a few sites that offered them.
Unfortunately no one has a description of the individual models, not even on the Standard-Horizon web site.
Based on my experience with Standard this is not surprising, they seem to have a real aversion to writing documentation, but that’s a whole other thread.
