Blue Shading on 182C Map Page

I went out yesterday with a friend who has a new 182C. On the map page all the areas under 18' were shaded in dark blue with the depths in a lighter blue. We couldn't figure out how to get a plain white chart. Any ideas?

I'd like to hear the answer too. I upgraded the bluechart software and the shallow blue areas are too dark to easily see the depths. Perhaps the depths should be shown in a white font intead of black on dark blue. IMO Garmin Blue charts took a big step backwards in this upgrade.

I just checked the Blue Chart manual on the Garmin website. It's a feature not a problem. So I won't be upgrading my own Blue Chart any time soon.
