Default Garmin 2006/2010 v 3006/3010

Is there a big difference in the displays on these units? I don't need the network connectivity of the 3000 series, but I do want the brightest display. I'm installing on a 19" center console and want to make sure I can see the display in the sunlight.

I had looked at all 4 units back in Jan-Feb. As far as I remember the screen resolution is the same. Think the 3000 series might have a slightly faster processor. I bought the 2010C for my Sea Hunt 202 CC. I can read it fine, even with polarized glassed on.

If you don't want any of the wizardry of the 3000 series, there are great deals to be had on 2000-series stuff. The screens on both are great, except for the anti-glare coating, which sux on both.
