Default Stereo Cutting Out

I just had new batteries installed in my boat becasue when I took it in for service they called and told me that the batteries that were in the boat were not the correct MCA required for my engines and could cause problems with the engine computers (I checked my owner's manual and they weren't just trying to get an "upsale" out of me). However, now that they've installed these new, larger batteries, the stereo cuts out any time I hit the bilge pump switch or the switch for the raw water/livewell washdown. It comes back on, but it seems to sound like there is interference when either is on. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with how the batteries are hooked up or if it's something else.

Electric and electronics are the furthest from what I'm good with. Any pointers on what to look for that may be causing this? Or, what other info do you guys need to point me in the right direction?

Default RE: Stereo Cutting Out

This may be a silly answer but I would try it anyway. If you have direct connect float switches on the bilge pumps try lifting the float with the bilge switch on the console off and see if the stereo still cuts out or has interference. This may start you on the right path.
