Default DMS300 to C-80
My DMS300 unit was supplied with a 3m 4 pin to 4 pin cable connecting the DMS to the C-80 unit. I need a longer cable 10m (listed in the install manual). My dealer says Raymarine isn't suppying/shipping yet. Anyone now when it will be availalbe? Also, while I'm waiting can I splice in a section of shielded 24g wire to the short cable?

NO; do not splice the cable. Call Raymarine on Monday and order direct from them.
