Default C-80 Night Display Mode?

Mine is flush mounted in an overhead directly in front of me. While seated in my helm seat, it's just above eye level. In daylight (and in daylight mode) the display retains it's visibility when I'm standing and viewing it at more of an upward angle. In other words, the display has excellent visiblity regardless of the viewing angle.

I put it in "night mode" and while visible when seated (eye level), I can't see a thing while standing (viewing at an upward angle).

I guess I can just dim the daylight display for nighttime use, but I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this?

I have found that the night-time display didn't work as well as just changing the light level and contrast.

I found on both my C80 and C70 the night mode was still to bright, it really screwed my night vision so I had to manualy reduce the brightness even more so.
