Default Furuno Navnet, Raymarine, Northstar, HELP

I'm sure this has been talked to death but I'm new to this site so here goes. I'm upgrading my eletronics and I want to have GPS and Radar in the tower for a better view leaving at night. I have a Northstar gps and a Furuno 24 mile radar now but need a new fishfinder. I would like to tie all the units together with the autopilot. Has anyone done this or have any ideas? Thanks

Are you going to keep the electronics that you have now, or are you upgrading? Give us a few more details and maybe we can help you out a little more.

Most any make and model Radar or autopiolot can be interfaced with your*chartplotter/GPS* via NMEA sentecing.*This will give you a "lollypop" on your Radar screen for the course to your current waypoint and the autopiolot will steer you to that waypoint.

If you're talking about networking the units that's a whole different ball of wax and you'll need a whole new set up of all the latest gizmos (same brand). Except the autopiolot, that you can keep.

After reading my post again I really didn't explain myself very well.On the lower helm I have a Furuno radar and a Northstar GPS, they are both connected with the auto pilot already. What I would like to do is add a 10.5 inch Navnet unit on the lower helm to be a fishfinder and maybe add GPS and radar to it if it's in my budget. Then on the upper helm I want to add a 7 inch unit that can tie into my lower helm unit. The upper unit needs a GPS,radar and fishfinder. I have heard good things about Furuno navnet but it's price is high, is it worth the money or is the less expensive Raymarine unit as good and with Raymarine can I tie the upper and lower unit together? Looking for ideas, thanks for any help
