Well, strange thing. I do the same thing but now it seems to be causing my fuse block to short! All my electronics are flaky! I tried to clean it with alcohol and it seemed to clear up some of the problems but I think I am going to have to replace the block and start over!!!

I would try it use a soft toothbrush and get it nice and clean with some electrical contact cleaner (CRC product) reseat all the connections and after testing that everything is a go..spray it with Boeshield T-9. That will leave a wax coating that should seal out corrosion.

This should last a good 6 motns or so. As I like to tinker and clean, I choose to inspect and spray with CRC all purpose spray instead every few weeks...

I agree with Greg and also use T-9. Works great, non-conductive, etc.
