Default How to protect wire connections from salt water?

Isn't there a liquid you can place on connections to prevent saltwater corrosion? If so whats it called???

Ditto that...as well as marine shrink sleeve. Contains an adhesive that doubles up on keeping water/moisture off the connection. Regular shrink sleeve does not.

West Marine's black goo: "Liquid Electrical Tape". Use on top of heat shrink connections or any type of connection!

There also is a product Liquid Lectric Tape made by MDR that you brush on.

I spray a bit of Corrosion X to the connections every spring, when I check my wires.
