Sirius Weather/Radio

I am currently controling my Sirius radio through my E-series MFD. I have a clarion CMD6 as my audio unit. The audio is controlled through the SR100 I believe and is routed to the clarion. I can not control the stations through the Clarion Unit, only on my E series display, which I find to be irratating.

Is there a way to get control of the stations through the Clarion unit? Do I have to run a seperate sirius antena in order to accomplish this? Can my current sirius weather antena be split to go to the clarion and the SR100 recievers?

no - you need a separate sirius box for the clarion...I will never control my tunes thru the chartplotter ...much too much hassle....box and antenna you need are about 175.00

Glen,

There is a SIR-CL3 box not connected to anything in my electronics box, is that the box you are refering to? I also have the galaxy antena that they took of and replaced with the weather antena, but it only has a 3" wire coming out of it, do they make an extension for that. Do you have it?

Tom, don't forget that then you must cancel the audio subscription associated with the SR100, and start it on the Clarion.
