Default Structure Scan Install Question

Hello. I spent yesterday afternoon installing the Structure Scan system in my boat. All in all it was not too hard. I haven't had a chance to put the boat in the water yet so I can't test the system but I have a couple of questions.

1. On the black box the Transducer light is blinking green. I assume this means that the transducer is receiving power but can't lock onto the bottom because the boat it not in the water. Is that correct?

2. The ethernet (Link) light is flashing a fast green. Is that normal or should that light stay solid green? The Power light is solid green.

without putting it in the water you will not know for sure, but if the structure scan menus come up and you switch to the structure scan mode and see brown on the surface clutter, its safe to safe it will be working once its in. When one of my connections were not all the way in, it won't show the structure scan menus.

The Structure Scan menus appear and the view is just a brown screen with no detail other than a depth range. I hope to splash the boat this weekend to check for sure.

From the manual:
Transducer light green/flashing = transducer detected/not locked onto bottom

power light green/stays on = product has power

Ethernet (should be yellow not green) solid/flashing = communication is working

When you put it in the water it should work no problem.
