hi Bluewaterpirate, can I use homeport or mapsource with a colorado? I only have the handheld, so i don't find mapsource too useful. I assume that's just how it is, or am i missing something?

thanks,

Very strange update. Once you select the download, nothing happens, no more screen info or other dialog boxes, then after about 5 minutes I finally had another dialog box that took me to an install screen. Very strange, but worked in the end. Not too sure exactly what is in the update either. Did not see a list of feature updates/changes anywhere.

Mine didn't do that. Mine just downloaded and installed normally.

Mine lagged a bit after selecting to download the update as well.. Its likely the result of the Garmin download site being slow or your ISP. Once the file is downloaded to the computer, things are very fast. Just takes some time for the complete file to be transferred from Garmin to your system.

Same here. Slower on my laptop but that's connected through a wireless connection that sacrifices a little speed.

And it's also on the screen when you do the update.

I updated using the garmin webupdated. It is not on the screen when updating that way; however, I can't think of a good excuse for not seeing it in the OP's photo. I will try to think of one and get back to yall.

I tried the update today and it went quick and painless except it still runs horribly slow on my system. Was hoping for a fix but alas that was not the case. I guess I will stick with MS until the next update. According to Garmin they think the problem is the onboard graphics card on my Lenovo dual cpu 2.0ghz pentium w/ 2 gb of ram. Everything else runs fine on it. Oh well.

I grabbed it also. It took a minute or two to download without any indication it was doing anything (I could see the bits fly with a net widget). It installed fine once downloaded.

It doesn't fix the waypoint not showing up in the object store issue (waypoint icon still cannot be changed on some points).

They haven't fixed the loading issue yet!

Went Ok for a couple of days now she won't load again...... yes I did change the UOM to custom a setting, just thought I'd test if V2.0.2.0 update addressed that problem.

Nope. I think only that one issue was fixed so far. They were probably getting alot of calls about other usb devices screwing it up or something so they quickly released a fix for it.

I'm sure there busy adding some featrues we desparately need in it, like more sorting, a full screen view, some filtering....

ok, it's probably already been asked....
How do I get my waypoints that are on my 5212 on to the home port software to plan trips? I have the g2 vision software sd card reading nicely...but none of my saved fishing spots are on there.
Thanks for the tips..
