can you clarify what is meant on page 4, unde compatable products. A 3rd party display is mentioned. What is the limitation of a 3rd party display???

The 3rd party display is for use with Northstar 8000i BBPC, which is a blackbox unit.

The new Simrad NSE is not listed under Compatible Products in this brochure, but this is of course the most interesting MFD to use with BSM-1 for sports fishing.

I thought the BSM was for Simrad and Northstar while LBS was for Lowrance and Eagle
