Default NVTI vs. FLIR

Anyone used both, theres a ton of threads about FLIR and everyone seems happy with it. I am just curious if the NVTI 1010 Low lux camera is just as good. Adavantages Disadvantages?

the FLIR is a thermal Imager and displays differences in heat signature,(everything has a heat signature, even Icebergs) where the low lux amplifies avalible light. you will see better performance in the fog with a thermal imager but more object detail with the low lux. also the thermal will not white out when subjected to a bright light source (IE spotlight)

I have very minimal experience operating either but have done my homework since I sell and install them.

Thermals are great till you have to get them repaired....then take a deep breath and get your wallet ready.

thermal is better in smoke and haze and low lux is better in fog and rain. both have their issues such as flir having exposed cores and nvti have their cores sealed which may lead to fogging on the inside. i know people with both products from both companies and like anything else you can always find a complaint.
