GSD 22 Update for 3210

Reading/following the threads about the new 5.4 update...seems to be that it was for the 4XXX and 5XXX series...or does it work for the 3210 as well...really wanted to upgrade the GSD 22 to the new update...am I outta luck? Or can I use 5.4 on my 3210?

Latest update for the 3210 looks to be 2.7 on 20 July 2009

If you go to this link:
http://www8.garmin.com/support/blosp.jsp

you will see a list of software updates for all the Garmin units. Click on your unit and then click on "download". There will be a listing of changes and fixes and also a listing of networked equipment (such as the GSD22) that will be updated along with your plotter.

Because the different plotters are indeed different, they need different updates.

I see your point here. The download page for the 3210 lists several updates for the gsd22 but not the most current updates, and the date of the installer is very old. It doesn't look like the 3210 package updates contain the newest GSD22 update.

You should probably call Garmin and ask. They may be able to point you to a download package that has the latest updates for the other compents.

I didn't have an issue because I do my updates through my 4212, and the 3210 is updated like any other net device.

I just did the latest GSD22 update via my networked 3210. The latest 3210 update does not have the latest GSD22 update, so you have to download and run the GSD update by itself. Seemed to work fine.
