Undo all the screws around the perimeter on the bottom, then simply remove the white dome cover. Since its new and you don't want to break it I suggest not opening it.

I am installing a Seaview 4 degree wedge. I believe I will need to open the dome in order unhook the wires and then route the wiring throught the center of the wedge.
I have ordered longer threaded rods to accomodate the wedge and have my fingers crossed that I will not have to drill new holes in my T-Top.
The cables disconnect from the bottom of the radar. There is no reason to ever open up a Garmin radar. All other manufacturers are starting to follow Garmin's lead with this.
