probably the best all around FF avail today under 2500 with a ducer...

It is the best 1 kw stand alone unit on the market period. Add a B260, M260 or B164 1 kw transducer and for $2,000 you are all set. Of course being the pigs that we are - you could always upgrade to a Furuno 295 and a 2 kw transducer for just a little more (about double plus a little).

Checked out the 292...but the 585 w/600w ducer for $1,450. seemed like too good a deal to pass up. With 1kw ducer, which I may opt for later it would have been $2k. Funds are a little tight right now but I think it will be way beter than my old crt FCV-552 which served me well for 15+ years!
