Default Hotwiring transducer

I Have a Raymarine DCM 250 bottom machine and im coming from a Garmin 3210 bundle with a 010-10272-00(part #) transducer. The transducer Is 5200 into the hull is there anyway I can hot wire these connections to get it to work.

Most likely you will be able to.

Best bet is to call Airmar and ask them how to do it.

They are very helpful and more then happy to provide the "How To" when swapping out different connectors from one brand to another

The word as far as splicing new ends on transducer cables, it can be done: With the exception of Raymarine. Proprietary twisted pair cable along with a proprietary connector. Airmar actually makes those ducers specifically for Raymarine to prevent what you're trying to do. Either way, you never want to cut a transducer or radar cable, forget it not working right, the loss you incur by butt connecting or a junction box hinders the performance of the fishfinder.

Just put a thru-hull in. Be wary of the DSM250 though. It was the Raystar 120 of sounder modules.
