Default Standard Horizon Question

The last time I went to use my CP300i It would not start.
When I would connect the power cord to the unit it would make 3 quick beeps
followed by a slightly longer beep.I was connecting it to a portable battery, but the battery was fully charged and I had previously used it in the same fashion for the last 7 trips.
I would press and hold the start button but nothing would start up and the beeps just continued. Any advice anyone?

A represenative from Standard Horizon should answer your question and provide you with a solution on Monday.

They are members of this forum and provide customer service second to none.

I don't believe they monitor this site for questions over the weekends.........Hang in there until tomorrow

I applogize for the problem you are having. Below are a few items you could try:

a. Have you confirmed the Voltage (battery connections on the Accressory cable) to the plotter are ok.
b. Remove the C-Map Cartography card and restart the plotter are report what happens to me via phone or email (s.iverson@vxstdusa.com).
c. Do you have a software update card? Have you recently tried to update the software?

We can take a look at the plotter and see what is causing the problem. If you wish to take this direction, send UPS to:
