Default Replacement for Lowrance LCX-15MT?

Is there a color unit that is a direct replacement for the LCX-15MT?

Thanks

Hmmm not sure how or why I'm typing in red

If you manage to find a LCX-27C it will fit perfectly if you have a flush mount LCX-15MT. The LCX series was obsoleted earlier this year, but you may of course find a shop still carrying it.

You can reuse the transducer and the power cable, but you will loose the temp readings from the ducer.

My recomendation would be to go for the new HDS-7 model. HDS is one of the best fishfinders at the marked and the plotter part has also gone a long way since the LCX series. HDS can also reeuse the transducer and power cable from your LCX, but will also here loose the temp. I'm not sure if you have to do some adjustments to the cut-out in case of flush mounting.

Default No Power on LCX-15MT

I have a LCX-15MT that was working perfectly until loading boat on Saturday and the screen went blank like I blew a fuse vs. using the power button. I disconnected and all I have gotten since is a few straight lines and no power up at all. Is there anything that can be done? I know it's not a fuse, because I have 2 of these units and the other one has been hooked up in both locations and got power.

The LCX-16Ci like I have will plug right in . A quick search shows there happens to be one listed on ebay now: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_...506.m270.l1313

The chartplotter function on these old LCX units is primitive even with Navionics mapping so I only have that as unused backup for a way better old N/S chartplotter, but the color F/F works great-very senstive.
