New Humminbird 900 series?

I know there is new Humminbird 900 series on schedule for January 2010 release. Anyone know what is new or they are changing on the units?

I do know this is one nice piece of electronics. After all it is a Hummingbird design from the ground up. Those guys are great. It is going to use the Koden MDS9 (dome) or the MDS10 (open array) Radar. I would really have to pass on the Radar selection. Just ask Lowrance how they did with the Koden Radar!!!! Lowrance switched to the JRC Radar so that should say it all.

The 1197’s will still be produced through the 2010 model year, so I doubt that you will see them on sale.

Differences in the 997c Si and 998c Si:
* Faster processor
* Video Out port
* Ethernet port
* ContourXD base map

Changes that will come with the 998c Si but can be added to the 997c Si units with a software update:
* SwitchFire (this is the renamed TVG menu)
* LakeMaster map card compatibility along with their special features
* Waypoint Management System
