I head that they were releasing it in Q4 which is just a few weeks away. Thats an awesome picture of the down scan!!!

Any idea how far down this will work? One of the pics on the Lowrance site shows 150 ft. but I didn't see anything about max depth.

Does anyone think it will really look like that offshore? Or is that something you're only going to see on a smooth lake or river?

Unless the transducer is on a towfish, fat chance of getting that kind of quality in anything over 1 ft seas.

Very true....not very good when its choppy and geared more towards flat water. Thats the way it is with my HB anyway!!

I am a Die Hard Humminbird fan, but after a few hours with the DownScan earlier this week - I am a Fan. It is a very powerful fishing tool.

These structure scans really help me understand at times I could be targetting growth on the bottom and not fish.
