Default Garmin 5208 NMEA thinks all level senors are gas!!!???

OK. Got my new 5208 up and running with NMEA 2000 Lowrance.
I run an E-tec 225.
I set-up an EP-15 for my oil tank and Garmin GFS-10 for gas.
Just watching the fuel flow and it is twice what the Lowrance shows.
Turns our each and every level sensor you add to the network makes the Garmin think it is another gas tank. It cannot distinguish different level items like raw water, waster water, fresh water, oil etc.
Anyone have ideas or solutions?
