Garmin 4212 w/ 1kw in hull ducer problems

Unit installed on Twin Vee cat hull , depth will not read more than 500' , have updated sw , installed a new GSD22, and tried a new ducer w/ same results , no changes... anyone else have these issues that my can help

Can't help on the issue - are you set to 50kHz, because 600' is about the overall limit for 200kHz, and that would be with a hard bottom. I have no problem seeing more than a 1000' with my GSD22/M260 combo set at 50kHz.

1. Transducer placement.
2. Make sure your in 50k mode.
4. Make sure the Range is set deeper than 500', which sets the power to 100%.

I hold bottom at 26 knots in 1200' no problem.
