Nice system!
What "cat" are you installing the NAVNET on, and, what kind of fishing will you be doing?

I have the BBFF1 on my boat (with 1833C and 1700c Navnet displays). It has worked flawlessly to 2500' and more. (I have the 1KW thru-hull transducer). You wont do better unless you spend a lot more money on a fishfinder.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm somewhat limited to an in hull shoot thru, but I don't think I'll lose more than 10-15%.

I agree with edk. Mine has worked unbelievably well using a Thru-hull Airmar. Probably the most important consideration will be the location of your Xducer.

Being as cats can get a lot of air between and under the sponsons, you will want to trial fit it before you permanently mount it. I would imagine that you will probably find the best spot somewhere rearward and outboard of the center line (keel or pad) of either sponson. That's why I asked what cat you were installing the system on.

Keep in mind that the BBFF1 can be set to 1 Kw but you need a more expensive xducer for that. I don't think you will gain anything by it unless you are fishing the canyons frequently.
