Default Will Garmin release new radomes featuring dual range?

Will we see new Garmin radomes featuring the technology from their new open array radars? The dual range feature is something I would use.

How about, will our exising domes allow the use of "Dual Range"?

I did think of that and expect this will be the case for the HD radomes. Mine is a non HD radome so I expect I will have to spend some money to upgrade. I would then look at GMR24 HD.

I would have thought the Garmin would have had the Duel range radar. I know Simrad and Furuno have had that feature for some time. I would like to see the feature on the Garmin radars...Mark

I'm not holding my breath that it will come to the existing hd radar domes........

They would have already turned it on if it was just software. Besides, it's a major piece of meat to get someone to upgrade to a larger new array from one of the domes.
