Bulkeman, not sure what you are looking for but I just bought a garmin 176 with the bluechart at West Marine in Cornelius. I checked internet prices and with their 10% discount they were within a few dollars of anything I could find on the net. Just a suggestion.
Consumersmarine.com is the best. Their cheap, knowledgeable,...and if they say they got it...you have it in three days at your door. The're not a drop shipper! I just spent $10,000.00. Last year $6,000...I know there might be a slightly cheaper/better place that I haven't found. "A bird in the hand", and all that. Good people to work with. If you don't like what you get or want to exchange, no problem. I can't say enough or maybe I already have.
I was very relucant to buy anything on line, but the taxes(don't get me started) I saved pushed me over. I spent about $6000 and split it up between marine online and dbmarine so I would not be totally wiped out. Prior to my final order, I verified it was in stock then gave my card no. Both were shipped as promised.
I like Boatersworld. They're easy to deal with...so far. On internet orders over $200 there's no shipping charge and no tax. They've got a toll free number for internet sales as well.
I've had a good experience with Onlinemarine.com.
Their prices were as good or better as any I found. I had the electronics shipped directly to my boat builder and they arrived within 3 days of placing my order. It turned out the Furuno was broken when it arrived and they replaced it immediately. I'd use them again without hesitation.
I've been burned by Boaters World twice. I ordered a Garmin chartplotter that was on back order, and was told one was being held until the new shippment arrived. Later was sent an e-mail saying they all had been sold. On my last try I ordered a set of Lenco trim tabs that were "in stock" only to be told that they would be shipped when they recieved them. I'm done with this place!!

Just bought a Garmin 168 fishfinder/GPS for my new GW Tournament 192 from dbmarine.com and received customer friendly service and quick delivery.
Caveat Emptor! Buyer beware, Not all online ordering companies are reputable.
Consumersmarine is top notch, however, not the lowest prices available. They are very knowleadgable on the products and will provide good tech assistance if you need it.
Would not give you 2 cents for Online marine. They have no clue as to tech assistance, and their warehouse is staffed with a bunch idiots that can't read a ship order.
CC
DO NOT ORDER FROM BOATERS WORLD!!!!
DO NOT EVEN GO INTO THEIR STORES!!!!!
Last Monday, the 8th, I ordered a Furuno 1622 radar from them. The website said that the product was in stock and ready to ship. Three days later I checked on the order to find out the tracking number, etc. I called their Customer Service and was told that the order was on hold and that there was no reason indicated for this status. Let me say here that my CC has $6500 available on it so that wasn't an issue. A little ticked off, I cancelled the order and called West Marine. They matched the BW price and express shipped the radar for free.
Well, this incident the last straw in my dealing with BW. I went to their store in Orlando on June 30th with a pocket full of $100's so I could buy a VHF, antenna, mount, and some fishing gear. I asked one of the guys for some help (I knew what I wanted, I just asked him to get it for me) and he told me he'd be right back. If I waited 20 minutes, I waited 30. He was too busy talking with his co-worker at the registers, which were totally empty of customers. Disgusted, I left without spending one cent and drove the three miles to BPs Outdoor World. The staff at BPS managed to help me spend $1100 on some great electronics, rods, reels, and assorted gear.

If I have a question about anything...in stock, models, what comes with, etc. I try to talk to someone on a toll-free number first. I bought my Garmin GPS Map-76 from these folks... good price, knowledgable staff, and rapid service.
Would have to concur on Boater's World. Ordered a black RAM mike for Standard VHF. After 2 weeks, I received a white one. I then told them I wanted to ship it back to get black. No problem. Well I paid extra for 2nd day air and I have to pay $15 to ship it back when it was 2 weeks late to begin with? OK, we'll send you a pre-paid shipper for the return. By the way, it will be 3 more weeks to get black.
OK, so can I get my money back. Sure, we'll send you the shipper and then credit you. It's been 3 weeks and no shipper. I think I'll just keep the white one, but the principle of the thing will cost them my future business
