Default How do I put Garmin 4208's in a Wellcraft Coastal

I have selected a Garmin electronics package for my 2001 Wellcraft Coastal 29. (Twin 4208 displays, with Radar, Sonar, and GPS. Now I am really concerned that I cant get the display units into the dash.
There appears not to be enough depth behind the dash to flush mount the units. Anybody have any experience with what it takes to get this done.

I know it can be done, I've seen pictures here of similar units mounted in that boat.

Any help appreciated.

not much you can do if you don't have the depth except acrylic or starboard spacer rings fabricated by a marine carpenter. We have done it in a few cases where the fit is tight. As far as other dimensions, use the dash planning kits avail by the mfrs:

On my 2000 290 Coastal we flush mounted a Raymarine C80 using a starboard spacer and it worked fine. I wish Wellcraft had gone with a deeper area behind the dash so the spacer wouldn't have been necessary.

I did an E-120 in a 32' Century about a year ago. Used a "spacer frame" fabricated from 1" thick starboard. Worked well.

Here's what I ended up with. The installers did a great job.
