Angry Need help finding a battery tray!!!

Hey guys
I'm starting to get dizzy searching for a proper battery tray.
I am buying a DieHard Marine Battery, Platinum PM-2 - Group Size 34M. I am looking for a tray that screws down to hold the battery in place firmly...none of this belt buckle BS that comes from the manufacturer. I cannot for the life of me find a secure battery tray to hold this sucker down. Please help!

here's a link to the battery

This is by far the best tray, all the high end boats use them. I found it on Amazon

Consider using a battery box instead. It will hold the battery in place and contain any spills. You should be able to find one to fit or find a slightly larger box and fill the empty space with a block of wood or plastic.

I thought the boxes were mandatory for marine use?

I cant really go with a box because there's just no room where the battery is mounted to fit the enclosure along with the lid. A tray is best for me and thats how it came from the manufacturer. I am not worried about the battery as the AGM battery is completly sealed. If its leaking I have a worse problem at hand lol

I'm going to make it a little harder. For some reason, not all batts are the same size.

When I installed 3 new Grp 27 AGM's I ordered the ones Kingair recommended. They were made for Grp 27 batts, but didn't fit. Went to West Marine who had ones that looked identical but did fit

Nothing is easy ......

Check with BOE (Board Sponsor). Jim will know

Hmmm, Elusive I think you're on to something, I've been looking at replacement batteries for some time now and thought that there was some form of standardization because of the size groups. I guess I was mistaken. I might have to size the battery then the tray and see if that works. Man imagine if car tires were this much of a hassle!
