Default Raymarine Covers

Ive got a E80 and C80 and the covers for both of them will not securely latch on the to left corner. Anyone else have the problem? If so, how did you resolve it.

haven't had this problem, but you could probably get the little sticky velcro dots. they may have to be replaced occasionally, but they should work.

However, don't hold your breath If you are waiting for someone from Raymarine to respond to a post here the way Standard Horizon does!

My E80 cover snaps on. If you unit is flush mounted make sure the corner of the E80 face is snapped/pressed down. believe the c80 is the same.

Mine snaps all around except for the top left corner. With this corner not snapping, it makes the cover not feel very snug and I fear it will fall off.

Did the tab wear off on the left corner of the snap on sun cover or on the Front cover clip on? I do not know what the cost is but you could replace the raymarine front cover clip on that snaps over the buttons.

Before purchasing I would:
1. remove the current front cover clip on cover and reinstall it.
2. Borrow a friends sun cover and see if it fits. You may have two bad covers( unlikely though)

On my E80 that is in the cockpit, sometimes my voer pops off. I believe that I don't always press it home evenly because when I do, the problem does not occur.
