Can a Garmin 4212 use a Sirius weather module?

I am looking at a Scout 26 sf cc and it comes with a Sirius weather module (and radio), but I see that Garnin advertises weather through XM. Given the merger, can I use the Sirius module, or do I have to spring for the XM box? Thanks.
