Sounder page on 182c?

I have a 2006c with gsd20. This is the primary sounder. I have a 182c I want to see the sounder on also. I have hooked the blue to brown wires and brown to blue wires from the 2006 to the 182. The 182 is reading the data as it shows the temp and depth on the nav screen and other info screens, however the sounder page will not show when I scroll through the pages.

This worked at the beginning of the summer, but I had to disconnect everything when we put new canvas on. Did I not connect it back properly?

Ok - let me try to do this from memory as I once had a GSD-20. You don't want to connect the 2006C to the 182c, you want to connect the GDS20 to both the 2006C AND THE 182c.

The data wires are as follows:

2006C .................. GSD20
White/Blue --> White/Blue
White/Brown White/Red
Brown

Thanks! I'll try that this weekend. Although we had the 182 running through the 2006 previously. Garmin support also said to run the 182 off the 2006, however, their suggestion did not work.

When the 2006c is connected directly to the 182c (at least the way you have it connected now) it is only providing NMEA 0183 data to the 182c. This is why you are getting depth and water temp only. Since I posted my first message, I pulled the GSD20 manual and believe my recolection is correct. If you want sounder image, you need to use the second set of outputs from the GSD20 to the 182C.
