Default Calling All Lowrance nema Network owners

I have a Lowrance LCX-27C that wont aquire a WAAS position.I have the LGC-2000 antenna and have tried the latest firmware update and a soft reset. When I bought the unit 99% of the time it would get waas but now it wont.Ive talked to the support at Lowrance but I got the run around, Are you guys getting waas and do you have any ideas to help? I just want the unit to operate as described. by the way I did buy the unit from Jim at BOE.

Thanks for any Help!!!!

A few people I know, who have Lowrance units, (including new models) do not use the waas feature. For some reason, the waas signal is not consistant enough and the "postion aquired" drops out. They simply uncheck the "require waas" box, in set up.

I get it consistently with the LGC-2000 and LCX 26 but wonder if you should be using a LGC-3000 antenna with your unit?

What did Jim telll you about this?

Do a search on here, because I think there was a similar thread sometime back. I think the final outcome was bad antennae.

From what I understand after talking to a lowrance rep the only difference between the 2000 and 3000 antenna is the blue and red connectors.

I had the same problem with my 113. I kept on losing the WAAS position. I finally just unchecked the WAAS box.
