Lowrance question

I have an older LMS 350A that I sent back to the factory a few years ago to be fixed, but forgot to send the GPS antenna module. They upgated the unit to a 12 channel receiver. Will the 5 channel module work with the 12 channel unit?

The chances are, no. Since the old unit was made, some sats have been removed from service, and new ones have been put in. The old gps won't see the new birds, so it probably won't get a fix. If it did, I wouldn't think it would be reliable, or accurate.

A call to Lowrance would confirm.
