Random Quote: Men don't buy boats........Wives let 'em.
I have one on order at Tri-State where I bought the boat and have no idea when it will be in so I will watch the board to see when someone else posts that they got theirs.
Ordered one through Defender.... am told late March or mid April. Or, with 95% confidence I would guess sometime between now and then. That should cover it.

Same with me...defender originally said 3/15. Just got a letter saying they were back ordered but no delivery date - out of their hands. I hope it is not a production problem just over selling!!!

Yeah same with me, I am anxiously waiting to get mine from Defender as well. They told me they are antcipating getting them on April 4th. Also I have yet to find anyone that can come close to the price I paid of $665.
VC, did they have one in stock or are you waiting too? I went to my local boaters world and they laughed at me when I asked if they would match that price.
PeteF
I am waiting unfortunately.
On the price match - I think if it were'nt for the the fact I did it at the Miami Boat Show where everyone was cutting deals and price matching I probably would not have gotten the price match by B.W.
Still not shipped. Seems Raymarine put lots of effort to get the "C" series out and put the "A" series on the back burner. I'm really pi$$ed-off...............they flat out lied to me via email when I asked when the units would be shipped. They responded no later than mid-March.
Man, even the plain dsm250's were backordered (just came in today) at consumers, Raymarine must be having a banner year.
One thing's for certain, there are a lot of excuses being made in competitors boardrooms. Looks like a sweep of everything except vhf's for raymarine. Certainly no competitor is out of stock........
Looks like they hired the right marketing talent for once.
Discussions in board rooms....I doubt Furuno is running scared. Raymarine's new units are as yet unproven. I am not saying they won't be succesful, but I don't think anyone is running scared. Last I checked the Coast Guard uses Furuno exclusively. Looks like the difference between recreational grade and commercial grade to me.
That isn't to say I won't end up owning the Ray 120, to early to tell at this point.
