Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post here.
I recently bought a Lowrance LCX-112C GPS plotter/sounder combo and Lowrance LCR-250 VHF radio.
The cable supplied by Lowrance to send the GPS location to the Comms radio is way too short for my requirements, with the radio on the ceiling of my boat cab and the GPS near the steering. I will need a cable about 2 to 3 metres long.
I've emailed Lowrance with no satisfaction asking if they have a proprietry cable with the correct plug terminations and lead length in excess of 2 metres long, and also asked what the part order number is.
The response was "go to the
www.leiextras website, and if you have any more questions we will be glad to help".
Yeah, some help that was, so now I'm asking the same question here,
can anybody please help ? has anybody connected these two items together before ?? does anybody know what part # I need to order ???
If I need to use the (supplied) short cable and extend it, I will need to terminate the cable with a plug to connect to the LCX-112C, what plug do I need ??
