Default Wedge for Furuno Radar.

I've got a 1623 Furuno and when on plane the angle of the radome is off level. I'd like to install a wedge under the dome. Anyone know if they are available for the unit of do they have to be made up.

Thanks

There is a 4 degree wedge made by scanstrut. Go to consumersmarine.com
website and give them a call. Good Luck!

Default RE: Wedge for Furuno Radar.

I made my own wedge. The 4 degree wedge from scan strut runs about $40. I just made two identical wedges outs off starboard and slid them under. If you want I can send you the measurements. They are approximately 8" long and 0.6" high. The only problem I am having is finding 10mm by 35mm stainless hexbolts. The ones furuno supplied aren't long enough with the shim plate.
