Lowrance LCX110C issue

I love this machine, but I believe it is no longer supported by Lowrance (not certain of that).

I am having trouble with the dual chip ports. When it was new, I could run 2 chips (one in each port). Lately, it won't power up with the second chip in there. I like to be able to switch between the Navionics navigation chip and the bathymetric fihsnchip.

If I power it up on the navigational chip, and go to put the second chip in while it is on, it quickly shuts itself off.

Am I not getting enough voltage to the machine to run both chips?

If I have to do a replacement, how long would I expect to wait on the turn-around?
