Default Raymarine C120

I would appreciate any help with the following issue. On the chartplotter screen of the C120 my boat's position seems to several feet off. ie...I am sitting between the jettys at the St. Lucie Inlet and the C120 show me 200+- feet into the ocean. How do I calibrate? Do I have it set up improperly? Help....

I have the C80. I am pretty sure that there is no calibration function. If the little symbol seems to be away from the dock, go into your menu & change the waypoint symbol to an"X". With the boat at the dock, enter a waypoint "at ship". Change the range to the largest scale that still shows your Navionics detail & see where the "X" is. The "X" is a lot smaller than the "ship position" symbol. You could also check how many satellites are being recognized.

While on the chart page hit the "menu" button, then "Chart Setup", then "Chart Offset". I have never had the need to use this feature, but it sounds like it may be there for situations like yours. Perhaps call Raymarine to confirm their intentions of this feature - I only say that because as far as I can tell you are intentionally putting some inaccuracy into the system.
