Default BestGPSspots.com ... Hot Spots Fishing chip help!

I bought the above chip for a Garmin 3210. I am in the Bahamas so I got that chip directly from the source, above website and Atlantis Marine crop. I cannot find any info. I went to maximum detail on the map preferences but I cannot find any detail added anywhere.

I would rather prove to be stupid than ripped off. Any suggestions on how to figure out if I have anything with this chip?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Try going into the Menu page and drop down to where you see Map. Move over to Source and select it. The top option will allow you to turn off the internal map, which will show in the display window that it is currently "On". Make sure External maps is turned on. I think this is the answer you're looking for.

Default RE: BestGPSspots.com ... Hot Spots Fishing chip help!

Hello CWMS, upon inserting the chip into the unit, the unit should see the card and ask if you want to load the waypoints into the unit. The Hot Spots Fishing Chip contains Fishing waypoints, not map detail or contours.
If you find for any reason that you do not have the waypoints on the card or loaded into your unit, please email sales @ bestgpsspots.com and let us know.

We are here to help you. We stand behind our products 100%.
Thanks,
Bill

So it is confirmed that I was stupid. There is a simple load process that I was skipping over. The vendor was very responsive and helpful in getting it resolved. Now to find some fish...

Default BestGPSspots.com .. Hot Spots Fishing chip update

With all the technology out there for us to use on our boats, I would not say anyone is stupid. A lot of times it can be a little detail that hangs us up, then all of a sudden you get the Duh from the wife- LOL

As stated before, we stand behind our products 100% and this is just another example of how a little customer service can go along way.

Thanks for the kind words Carl
