Default Radio TX noise

What would cause my vhf radio to create "noise" on my furuno 600l screen when I transmitt? Also I believe the trasmitt range has deminished although it still recieves strong. Should I inspect the grounds or would the ant. be more suspect?

Default RE: Radio TX noise

Check all of the grounding very thoroughly. Also check the coax connector.
