Bluewater owners..stereo help!

Plan on putting a AM/FM/CD/MP3 player on and mounting it in the glove box (electronic box) at right side of console. (BW 2550)

I assume even marine "grade" stereos won't last long so does/will it matter which unit I get. Is that area pretty dry?

Do I get the West marine $119 unit that does the above or another higher priced unit? Will it matter?

What you need to do is go to Best Buy, and get a regular car stereo and buy the PSP or Performance Service Plan. Basically an Extended Waranty. Use it until it gives up, then take it back and get a new one. All car stereo's are what they call "DEVO", which means they won't even try to fix them, they'll just give you a new one. If they don't have the exact model the'll give you a new one.
