Have Sirius on my E80 have seen offshoressatelliteservices maps. IMO no comparison. Offshores gives much more detail and fishing info.

I second that OSS has much more detail. it is well worth the money.

Wow. Thanks for that. I was expecting to hear they are all the same. How does offshore sattellite services work? Nick runs his sirius off a separate antenna thru his Ray E80. Do you need more gear for OSS? Or can you just get it on land through your computer? The website does not say much. I guess I should call them.

Thanks again for your opinions and thoughts, i really appreciate it.

Dan

OSS is great, but you cant get the weather data once your offshore.

So, OSS is for trip planning, where to look for fish, and Sirius helps make some on-board decisions about weather i suppose.

Think of OSS as your road map and your sirius as your way point to comfort. OSS will tell you where the fish should be an sirius should help you get there safely.
