Default Garmin 4212 and Garmin 3205 interface

I have a garmin 4212 and a Garmin 4208 with a gsd 22, weather, and radar. I want to put a Garmin 3205 in my tower. Can I hook it into the back of the 4121 and pull up the gsd 22, weather and radar.

Thanks

Yep, everything will be networked. BTW unless you already have the 3205 you should be fine with the 3005. Once the 3005 is networked it will automatically recognize the built in g2 maps from your other display. Might save you a couple hundred between the 2 units?

unfortunately, the 3000 series units will not receivechart detail over the network (or any other way) from a 4000 or 5000 series unit. but, the answer to the original question is indeed yes.

The only thing to hookup is the network cable to the 4212 or GMS 10 and power. The 3005 will not share the charting with the 4212, so go with the 3205.

Wow, sorry for me misinforming you on the chart detail. Will the 40xx recognize chart detail from a 52xx? Is the 3xxx the only series that will not share chart detail with the 4xxx and 5xxx? Thanks for correcting me on this! Mouth insert foot!

Nice set up. I have the EXACT same system. Had to get a g2 chip for the tower.
