Default My electronics are not talking NMEA 0183 (Garmin/Furuno)

Thanks to all that have assisted in the past. I still am a little confused and need more help. I have the Garmin 4212 installed and have wired the Furuno 585 sounder and Garmin 4212 as pictured below however the units are not fully communicating. Let's assume everything is wired correctly which I think they are.

I am able to get the furuno to send water temp to the Garmin, but am unable to get the Garmin to send heading, course, lat/lon coordinates, and speed to the Furuno.

I have tried to set each unit so it recognizes the proper sentences but an unsure of which settings I should be using.

On the furuno what version of NMEA should the unit be set? 2.0 or 3.0? Should the garmin be set to high speed or standard?

What sentence codes should the garmin be set to? I don't see a decoder in the manual to figure them out. GPBWC, GPRMC, GPDOD, etc?

thanks,
Eric

Standard Speed = 4800

High Speed is for for AIS installs

Set the Garmin to Standard the Furuno to V 3.0 NMEA

and turn all the sounder NMEA codes on set the lat/long to 4 digit.
