Anyone have any experience with Bethel Marine.
How do their prices compare to other electronic dealers and how is their customer support. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

I bought an antenna from them and they had the best price I could find. Their pre-sales support was good. I did not test their post-sales support.

I got my Digital antenna from them, by far the best price I found. You have to call them for their unadvertised price on some items, somewhat like the "Add to Cart" you have to do on other sites to get the actual price.

I was happy with their price and service.

My only dissapointment with Bethel is that they have a Florida store and I had to pay sales tax on my internet order. Dooah!

Been rigging boats for several years, they're the best I've found.

They are an excellent shop. Really more of a local Mom and Pop operation, but with prices that compete with the giants. Talk to them on the phone. They can answer your questions, because you are speaking to the shop, not some third party call center.

I've bought a Northstar 961 gps from them and a satellite phone. Great service, great prices. I'll buy from them in the future and have recommended them to many boaters who are in the market for sat phones.

I've bought probably 25K worth of stuff from them this last year and give them my highest recommendation. They have bailed me out when in trouble and, while rigging my newest project, the factory told my electrician bad advice and Bethel straightened it all out.

Factory was wrong ( Simrad ) and Bethel was right. I've dealt with them for 10 years and will continue.

Two thumbs up - Of course I only live 20 minutes away. Very knowledgable and helpful - good prices. Nice to call and talk to someone who CAN and WILL answer your questions when interfacing electronics

Hey CORALREEFER-

Consumers Marine Electronics also good,

If you want to deal local, Ensley's Radio Service in New Bern very good, been there 20 plus years, and very knowledgable, they match internet prices.

I bought and had Bethel install a Simrad AP14H autopilot back in 2001 and their installation was on time, done right, and fairly priced. Will probably get them to do a radar this coming spring. BTW not one second of down time on the autopilot since installed.
