The Furuno rep at the Seattle Boat Show told me it wouldn't be available until Aprilish. For now the unit they sell it is the 1100.

my 1100 is hands down the best sonar i've ever used or seen used...beats all the digital processing(smoothing, thus losing info)

The 1150 is using the same digital filtering technology as FCV-585/620. The 1150 screen is 12,1" versus the 10,4" for 1100.

Any one using this sounder yet.
Does the sounder work better in auto gain mode with the new digital filters or is it better to set up the gain manually?
I have used Raymarine equipment and it is recommended to use the sounder in auto gain mode to get the best performance and was wondering if the 1150 is similar.

Purchased one two months ago, sitting in garage waiting for new boat. have not picked a transducer for it yet. I'm going to see it will run the old 68 freq because that had a cone angle of 38 by 40.

I've had the FCV-1100 and absolutely love it, but definately is $$$...

What is this unit, looks like the old 292 redone right?

Trying to look for the difference, anyone else noticed this?

the FCV-295LCD? Looks to be cheaper too than the 1100/1150... Wondering if the transducers are different or something but looks like the same display as another one...hmm
