I’ve have one for close to four years now. It’s an absolutely phenomenal chat plotter. I purchased a C-Map version. The accuracy, and durability are incredible. I installed my 1850 with a separate furuno 582L. I put a lot of hours on my boat each year, and this unit will do you right. I’m a die hard furuno fan, and I know the 1850 will simply amaze you.

I had one for two years. It came with the boat I purchased. It had the GPS only. Some have the FF option also. It was typical Furuno, worked well, high quality. I had the C-Map version. At first it was a bit difficult to operate and learn but once I figured it out, no problems. In the past I owned a Garmin and then Northstar, I felt that those units were a bit easier to use. I sold it to a good friend and he is also very happy with it now. If you get it for a fair price you can't go wrong.

Tommat, I had the 1650 on my 42' Ocean then got the 1850 on my 47' SF, expensive but great machine, both took navionics charts. Good luck, Jerry
